Breakfast Club Assistant

Part-time position – 3 hours per week

Start date: as soon as possible.

Pay Scale: B one point scale –gross starting salary £1521 per annum (based on £22,366 FTE)

We have a vacancy for Breakfast Club Assistant and we are looking for someone who is adaptable and committed to supporting the Breakfast Club supervisor.

The main duties of the post are:

  • To assist in the setting up of the breakfast club venue each morning
  • To assist with the preparation and serving of breakfast as appropriate
  • To assist in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for children attending the club
  • To assist in the supervision of children and support positive social interactions and good dining habits
  • To administer minor first aid and seek further assistance when necessary from one of the qualified First Aiders.
  • To supervise the departure from the breakfast club to classrooms for the start of the school day

 

This is a part-time post, term time only. The hours are 7.45 am to 8.45 am Monday to Friday.
